Events

At Garden Gate Nursery, we host various events throughout the year. We regularly invite speakers to discuss new plant varieties, selecting plants that will flourish in your garden, and how best to care for your plants. In addition, we have fun family events such as our Fall Festival, with offers such as a petting zoo, pumpkin carving contest, local food and wine vendors, and face painting.

Learn about Wisconsin wildlife and wild animal rehabilitation from the Wildlife in Need Center -- and meet some of the animals they've helped out!
Located in Oconomowoc, the Wildlife in Need Center has been facilitating wild animal rehabilitation since 1994. Injured, orphaned, displaced or sick wild animals are brought to the clinic and treated with the goal of releasing the animals back into their native habitat. Each year, Wildlife in Need treats around 3000 animals, including birds, mammals, and reptiles.
